Creators keep more. Customers pay less. Everyone wins.

An ecosystem built for
creators and community

DevLoot is a marketplace for assets, games, and everything in between — tuned for indie studios, asset creators, and the people who buy from them. Lower fees, direct payouts, and rewards for being active.

Four roles. One flywheel.

Everything on DevLoot feeds the next thing. Creators earn fairly, so they ship more. Customers get more choice and get rewarded for being active. Activity drives discovery, not paid placement.

Asset Creators

Sell Unity assets, 3D models, audio, tools

Game Devs / Publishers

Ship games with a launcher + IAP backend

Customers

Buy direct from creators, one-click install

Active Community

Earn tokens from activity, spend them on products

Each group’s benefit reinforces the next. More creators means more choice for customers. Active customers earn tokens that flow back into purchases. Better purchases mean more reviews, which means better discovery.

What's in it for you?

Pick the role that fits.

You make it. You set the price. You keep the customer. DevLoot is infrastructure — not a middleman.

Keep more of every sale

12% fee on Free tier, 8% on Pro. Most traditional asset stores take 30%. The math adds up fast.

Own your customer

Direct Stripe payouts. You're the merchant of record. Your brand is on the receipt, not ours.

DPM integration

Your assets install through Unity's Package Manager — same one as the official store. No .unitypackage drag-and-drop.

Publish from Unity

The DevLoot Package Publisher onboards and ships straight from the editor — point it at a folder and it writes package.json for you, then creates a draft you finish pricing and media on the web.

GitHub auto-publish

Pro feature. Connect a repo and a GitHub Release auto-publishes a new versioned update to DevLoot. Your repo stays the single source of truth — no double uploads.

WebGL live demos

Pro feature. Let buyers try your asset in their browser before committing. Converts better than screenshots.

Versioned updates

Ship v2.0 without re-listing. The DevLoot Package Manager (DPM) keeps full version history so buyers see the latest and can switch back to older versions. Push members-only updates to keep recurring revenue flowing.

Promotions & sales

Schedule percentage or fixed-amount discounts with start/end dates, and let buyers spend earned tokens at checkout — funded by you, capped per product so you stay in control. Pro adds flash sales with live countdowns and lifts the limits to unlimited discounts & bundles.

Bundles

Group several products into one discounted bundle with its own page. Lift average order value and move your back-catalog.

Affiliate program

Recruit affiliates to sell for you. Set a cash commission or a token bounty per product — DevLoot tracks the referral and settles it at checkout, so there's nothing to invoice.

Creator memberships

Pro feature. Patreon-style, without a post feed. Gate products or specific updates behind monthly tiers — set per-update access to all owners or members-only. You set the benefits.

Pro storefront styling

Pro feature. A Pro badge + flair, a custom store theme (gradient presets that re-skin your accents) with a parallax background of your own, an announcement bar, and a featured spotlight carousel — your store stands out next to Free stores.

Featured placement & discovery

Pro feature. Your products bubble to the front of the home Featured shelves and get a ranking nudge in search — more eyes, more sales.

Priority review queue

Pro feature. Your product & game updates jump to the front of the moderation line, so your changes go live faster than Free-tier submissions.

Verified program

Earn the blue check after a manual review. DevLoot advocates for you on customer disputes once verified.

Built-in social reach

Your posts surface to followers through our feed. Active creators build audience on-platform, not just off.

No lock-in

Your catalog, your customer list (via Stripe), your payouts. Cancel anytime, move anywhere.

DevLoot Tokens

Activity is rewarded.
Being here is worth something.

The best marketing comes from real users. So we reward the real users. Every meaningful action on DevLoot earns tokens — and tokens become discounts on the next thing you buy.

Leave a review and earn tokens — and the vendor earns tokens too when you rate their product 4 or 5 stars, so quality gets rewarded on both sides. Comments drive discovery because people write them. Instead of forced marketing, we pay the community for contributing. Vendors can even spend earned tokens to knock up to 50% off their DevLoot Pro subscription.

Affiliate Program

Share what you love. Get paid for it.

Generate an affiliate link for any product on DevLoot and earn when someone buys through it. Two ways to reward sharers — vendors choose which to offer, per product.

Cash commission

Earn a percentage of every sale you refer, paid in real money. Your commission rides the same checkout — settled to you automatically, no payout minimums to chase.

Token rewards

Prefer perks over payouts? Vendors can reward referrals in DevLoot tokens instead — which you spend as discounts on your own next purchase.

One link, tracked end-to-end

Grab a short /r/ link from any product, share it anywhere, and watch clicks and conversions in your affiliate console. Attribution is handled for you.

Vendors fund and control their own affiliate offers — commission rate or token bounty, set per product. DevLoot tracks the referral and settles it at checkout, so there's nothing to invoice and no spreadsheet to keep.

Free forever for creators. Pro when you're ready.

Upload and sell on Free. Upgrade to Pro at $10/mo (or $90/yr, saves 25%) when you want memberships, WebGL demos, GitHub auto-publish, flash sales, featured placement, a priority review queue, a fully themed Pro storefront, unlimited products, and lower commission.

Common questions

Who is the merchant of record on sales?

The vendor. Under Stripe Connect Direct Charges, each creator is the seller of record on their own sales. DevLoot is a payment facilitator, not a party to the transaction. That means vendors handle refunds, chargebacks, tax, and support for their own products — with tools from us to make it easy.

What's the difference between Pro and Verified?

Pro is the paid tier ($10/mo) that unlocks features: unlimited products, memberships, WebGL demos, GitHub integration, flash sales & sale tooling, featured placement, a priority review queue, a fully themed storefront, lower fees, and eligibility for Verified. Verified is a separately-earned trust badge DevLoot grants after manually reviewing your track record. Pro is a prerequisite; Verified isn't auto-granted.

How does the GitHub integration work?

A Pro feature. Connect a repository once, and a new GitHub Release auto-publishes a versioned update to DevLoot — your repo stays the single source of truth, so there's no double upload. You can also grant buyers automatic, time-boxed read access to the repo based on what they purchased or their membership tier, which replaces hand-run Discord invite bots. Access is revoked automatically when entitlement ends.

Can I run sales, bundles, and token discounts together?

Yes. Vendors schedule percentage or fixed-amount discounts with start and end dates, group products into discounted bundles, and opt products into token redemption. Sale prices show right on the cards, and a buyer can still spend earned tokens on top — token discounts are vendor-funded and capped per product, so you always know your floor.

Can I publish without leaving Unity?

Yes. The DevLoot Package Publisher uploads and creates a draft straight from the editor. Point it at a plain asset folder and it writes a valid package.json for you, then you finish pricing, media, and SEO on the web. Use the "New Product" tab to onboard, or "Update Existing" to ship a new version with full version history in the DevLoot Package Manager (DPM).

How do tokens convert to discounts?

Tokens apply at checkout as a percentage discount, up to a cap per transaction. Earn them by logging in daily, posting to the feed, reviewing purchases, referring friends, or just buying products. They never expire while your account is active. Vendors can also redeem tokens against their DevLoot Pro bill — up to 50% off while subscribed.

How does the affiliate program work?

Open any product and grab its affiliate link (a short /r/ URL). Share it anywhere; when someone buys through it, you're credited automatically. Vendors decide the reward per product — a cash commission that's settled right inside the checkout, or a bounty paid in DevLoot tokens. Either way there's no invoice to send and no spreadsheet to keep: clicks and conversions show up in your affiliate console, and payouts ride the normal Stripe flow.

Do reviews really earn tokens — for both sides?

Yes. Leave an honest review on something you bought and you earn tokens (one review per product). The vendor is rewarded too when their product earns a high rating — more tokens for a 5-star than a 4-star — so making great products pays off directly. Reviews you left before this launched were credited retroactively.

How do I find things on DevLoot?

One global search box covers everything — assets, games, stores, creator profiles, feed posts, and even help and settings pages (like a command palette). It's fuzzy and typo-tolerant, tags are matched silently, and typing @ narrows to people and stores so you can jump straight to a profile.

Can game publishers use DevLoot?

Yes. Games ship with the DevLoot Game Launcher (desktop app) for auto-install + auto-updates, and the GameLoot SDK lets you add in-app purchases to Unity builds. Same lower-fee structure as asset sales.

How does DPM integration work?

Asset purchases appear in your DevLoot Package Manager automatically once you sign in to the DevLoot Unity extension. Add to any project with one click — no .unitypackage downloads, no manual imports.

What if I want to move my catalog elsewhere later?

You own your products, your customer list (via Stripe), and your payouts. Nothing is locked in. Leave whenever you want.
